Rosetta Stone, by Fairfield Language Technologies, takes the learning experienced to a new level and makes it trouble-free and entertaining using the technique of image and word association. There are no English terms or phrases in the lessons; you simply study through associating Spanish words you don't know with pictures of things you do know. For example, you may perhaps not know what the word "burro" means, but you recognize the image of a donkey in the picture next to it.

Rosetta Stone is very easy and simple to use, and you won't be dissapointed by it. It doesn't come with Spanish dictionaries and grammar rules though, so if you really want these tools, this isn't the program for you. But if you want a program that teaches Spanish intuitively and makes retention easy, Rosetta Stone is exactly what you want.
